She has spent her entire career dedicated to serving students, and enjoys advising them through a critical juncture of their lives. Having also spent time in high schools and community-based organizations (CBOs), she has the unique pleasure in this field of a deep understanding of the process from all four sides of the desk.
Sonam earned her BA in Sociology from Duke University, and completed her MBA from Rice University on a full-ride as a prestigious Consortium and Forté Fellow. For her MBA internship, she interned with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Seattle. Additionally, she was the Pratt School of Engineering liaison for Duke’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Both experiences make her especially skilled with advising prospective business and STEM applicants.
